Engineer I

The Engineer I assists in design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. This role performs simple and routine engineering design tasks with standard techniques. They will assist senior engineers in the preparation of plans, designs, computation methods and reports.

The Engineer I assists in design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. This role performs simple and routine engineering design tasks with standard techniques. They will assist senior engineers in the preparation of plans, designs, computation methods and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Tooling Design and Analysis: Collaborate with design and tooling teams to ensure molds and tooling are designed for manufacturability and efficiency.

Material Selection and Testing: Conduct material testing and analysis to determine optimal materials for specific applications and requirements.

Quality Assurance: Support quality control processes by preparing measurement plans, conducting inspections, troubleshooting defects, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of processes, procedures, and test results. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction initiatives. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration of injection molding processes into product development and production workflows.

• Bachelor's degree of Engineering required.

 Experience

 

  • 0-2 Years experience working in an engineering environment. High volume manufacturing environment experience preferred.
  • Experience using CAD software to produce 3d models and 2d drawings preferred.
  • Experience with Solidworks preferred.
