Employee Experience Specialist

Summary

The Employee Experience Specialist helps manage and coordinate all employee centric activities across all M&M locations.  This position will play a vital role in supporting and implementing initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture, strengthen employee connection to the organization, and enhance engagement levels all while supporting the Company’s mission and core values.

The Employee Experience Specialist is responsible for helping our company and our people learn, grow, and thrive by providing a broad range of strategic, creative, support. In this strategic role, you will partner across Human Resources and the organization to understand key business priorities, co-create effective solutions and communications while developing processes and tools for measuring, tracking, and analyzing people and performance metrics.

This role will also promote the Company both internally and externally through various social media networks.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

This position will work closely with the HR team, Marketing team and Operations leadership to build and sustain a positive and engaging workplace culture (as measured by survey tools and other key metrics – turnover, retention). This includes developing, implementing, and coordinating employee engagement initiatives throughout the organization.

While site HR and leadership remain fully accountable for administration of programs.  This role will be responsible for assisting, coordinating, standardizing, analyzing and reporting in the following areas; timely administration of hourly pay band reviews, staff satisfaction surveys, onboarding, exit interviews, stay interviews, employee events, recognition programs, and employee relations activities.

  • Role works with site HR and leadership to ensure that all hourly employees are receiving evaluations and increases on time in accordance with our Pay Grade schedule.
  • Support the implementation of engagement surveys, polls, and colleague forums, focus groups etc. to gather employee feedback.
  • Analyze results and assist in identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Share insights with the leadership to shape future initiatives.

 

Lead the planning, communication and execution of employee engagement programs, campaigns, and activities. Understand, support and contribute to the M&M employee value proposition (EVP).

Serves as a strategic thought partner to the CHRO, L&D manager and members of the HR Team. Collaborate with the M&M Operations Leadership to roll out initiatives that enhance morale, recognition, and inclusion.

Collaborate with the Internal Communications team to ensure alignment of messaging and effective distribution.

Help design and maintain materials such as toolkits and resources to support engagement efforts.

Act as a point of contact for employees to answer questions or address concerns related to engagement programs.

Support special projects as directed by the CHRO.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Competencies (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities)

  • Must possess strong interpersonal, communication, organization, time management, critical thinking, presentation and public speaking, and relationship building skills.
  • Computer proficiency with MS office, HRIS, etc. required.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging messages for diverse audiences.
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with engagement survey platforms, collaboration tools, and intranet systems is an advantage.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field required.

 Experience

Previous experience in human resources, employee engagement, communications, marketing, organizational development, or related field required.

1-3 years of experience in employee engagement, internal communications, event coordination, or HR-related roles

OTHER

Travel between sites is up to 25%.

Bi-Lingual -Spanish a plus
