Dry Offset Printing

Dry offset printing is a popular method of printing on plastic pails and other cylindrical or conical-shaped objects. It is a variation of offset printing, which is a widely used printing technique for producing high-quality images with accurate colors and fine details.

In dry offset printing, the image is first etched onto a metal printing plate, which is then loaded onto a printing press. The printing press transfers the image from the plate onto a rubber blanket, which in turn transfers the image onto the plastic pail. Unlike wet offset printing, dry offset printing uses a dry ink that adheres to the surface of the plastic without smudging or smearing.

Dry offset printing is commonly used in the packaging industry for printing spot color graphics on plastic pails, cups, and other cylindrical or conical-shaped objects. It is also used in the production of toys, automotive parts, and other consumer products.
