Essential Functions:

• Follows our safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Remove and install molds in plastic injection molding machines
• Set up machines for continuous production by positioning and aligning mold, connecting water , hydraulics and air feeds as required
• Keep all machines and auxiliary equipment clean and organized
• All mold are stored and logged in the proper locations
• Work toward continuous improvement of all mold change and machine set up procedures
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must have strong mechanical aptitude
• Must be forklift certified
• Must be able to lift and handle a minimum of 50 pounds on regular basis
• Detail oriented, logical and methodological approach to problem-solving
• Perform work from a standing and/or sitting position as required
• All work is performed in a manufacturing environment which may be hot/cold and requires the use of PPE at all times (eye glasses, ear plugs where required, etc.)
