Production Forklift operator- Second shift

Able to operate either a electric or propane forklift. Wrap or bag the pallets of product. Label the pallet then put into locations in a timely manner. Scan any movements of pallets using a handheld RF scanner to assure that locations and inventory levels are correct.

  • Follow safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
  • Examines the work orders to understand any instructions needed for that job.
  • After QC releases a pallet, then makes four new labels from the laser printer
  • Then place labels on the pallet and wraps or bags the product
  • Scans and moves the items to location given by scan gun or work order.
  • Assist the supervisor to assure production needs are met.
  • Responsible for keeping the work area clean and organized.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Able to use banding equipment

•Able to use a hand held RF scanner

•Able to shrink wrap manually or using shrink wrap machine

•Must be able to lift and handle a minimum of 45-50 pounds occasionally

•Good hand and eye coordination a must

All work is performed in a manufacturing environment which may be hot/cold and requires the use of PPE at all times (eye glasses, ear plugs where required etc)
