Summary
Production Supervisors are integral members of management teams and responsible for implementing and sustaining change, controlling inventory and material flow, ensuring meeting the needs of customers, and driving bottom line results. The Production Supervisor coordinates resources across one or more shifts to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations while promoting a team environment and continuously improving all production methods while adhering to all safety procedures. They are responsible for training and development of hourly employees, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies. The Production Supervisor is a results driven leader with a passion for implementing and sustaining improvements, the ability to think strategically, solve problems, lead members, and drive quality in their facilities. They must also empower members to recognize and make improvements and lead department initiatives.
